1/50 is also a good size for Caterpillar Toy Tractor collectible construction toys. They average 5-6 inches in length. Graders and scrapers are 6-8 inches. The larger equipment pieces are still 8-12 inches, but please note these are only for collectors and modelers. Some examples of this would be a Cat International Tractor with Flatbed Trailer and Back Hoe Loader, 420 D 1/50 scale; N55117, selling for $44.99. A smaller version would be from Toy Truck City: Cat D5M Track-Type Tractor #55108. It runs on tracks. The scale is 1/87 and sells for $18.95. Kettler makes a nice Caterpillar farm toy tractor Challenger MT465 FWA SP.ED for $85.
